The growth policy began this week as Rachel Laqua, Richland County Planner, began meeting with stakeholders and individuals throughout the county. The meetings were designed to gather input from focused groups of people throughout the area. These groups included:

• High School Students in Sidney & Fairview
• Business Owners and Leaders
• Community Members
• Community Organization Stakeholders
• City Officials
• County Officials
• School Officials

These meetings marked the kickoff of the Richland County - Sidney - Fairview Growth Policy public engagement efforts. Over the next months, additional meetings and interviews will take place to gather more feedback and perspective from across the country.
